sooooooooo

My grandma died today.
My dad's mom.
She has been sick for several years.

And it's my brother's birthday.
We went to guitar center saturday and he got his present. A blue, full body artcore. I still like mine better. They also didn't have the guitars that I wanted to play on.

Ewwwwww

In my comp129 class, we looked at windows vista.
It looks like a mac.
Way to be creative Microsoft.
=/

And now they have "sidebars."
If you use Linux or perhaps use Blackbox/Fluxbox, it looks just like plug-ins that allow you to see your comp temp or perhaps a little media player. It's just a bar on the side of your desktop that allows you to see certain things that you want. That's almost nifty.....if it was original.....and not so far behind....

And apparently, in the laptop version of Visa, newer laptops will come with an extra screen on the lid(opposite side of your screen) that will display info that you want without your PC actually being "on." So it can check your mail for you or weather and little stuff like that. It's a neat idea, but I wouldn't use it though.

You can go to microsofts page if you actually care to see it for yourself.

t.D.o.t.F.t.F.a.t.S.

Stupid floppy drives and huge HD case thing. =(
Today in lab we had to fix a PC. The professor detached some parts and we had to put it together again so that it worked. No problem. BUT, working around the HD enclosure thing and the floppy disk being right under it sucked. It's a sideways PC. The kind that schools usually put monitors on top of. Accessing anything below that enclosure sucked because I had to manipulate my hands around it. If that enclosure wasn't there, I probably would have finished it in half the time.

Either way, it only took about 10 minutes.

Today is 5/5/6

Awesome.

AND I have a Pepsi.

D.U.R.M.S.

I like my English class.

I never thought I would ever say that in my entire life.
Don't get me wrong, I hate writing papers and doing stupid grammar assignments, but this class is run a way that I can put up with it. In all of my previous english classes, we would only have three or four essays do a year, but they were huge essays. In this class, we do a small essay every Wednesday. I would much rather have several small essays a year then very few HUGE essays a year.

While on the subject, I just finished my english lab in twenty minutes.
I feel awesome.

Too bad my next class is horrendously boring.
=(

N.F.N.F.

So.... I haven't been able to really taste stuff for the paste two days....It's been a bit odd.

and as a side note, I hate comp100.
